Phoenix Children’s is seeking a Scheduler to join the PCMG Access Scheduling team. This remote role handles incoming calls and schedules patient appointments across divisions, using the scheduling system per established protocols.

Duties include communicating appointment details to referrals, correcting scheduling discrepancies, and participating in ongoing education to maintain clinical competency. This is a full-time telecommuting position with daytime hours.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Central Scheduling Supervisor, this position accepts incoming calls, schedules patient appointments in various divisions, and utilizes appropriate scheduling system and software according to procedure type, knowledge of protocols, privileges, and block time, when appropriate. This position also initiates the billing processes by collecting, entering, and verifying pertinent patient data and insurance information.
