Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our Project Controls team, supporting Power & Energy programs, including transmission and substation capital projects. This role can sit in Dallas, Tulsa, or Corpus Christi.

You will develop, maintain, and status integrated project schedules in Primavera P6, collaborating with PMs, engineers, and construction teams to gather updates and validate logic. Strong analytics and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field; equivalent scheduling or project controls experience will be considered.
• 7+ years experience in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for capital projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 including schedule development, logic review, progress updates, critical path analysis, and schedule reporting.
• Working knowledge of scheduling best practices, baseline management, change impact analysis, milestone tracking, and schedule risk identification.
• Familiarity with project controls tools and reporting platforms such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor schedules for completeness, logic, sequencing, resource loading, and alignment with requirements.
• Prepare schedule reports, look-aheads, milestone summaries, and executive updates.
• Support baseline schedule development, updates, delay analyses, and recovery planning.
• Coordinate schedule data with cost controls, risk management, and reporting teams.
• Use scheduling information to support progress meetings and client discussions.

WSP is seeking a Scheduler to join their Project Controls team supporting Power & Energy programs, including transmission line and substation capital projects. This individual can sit in our WSP locations in either Dallas, TX / Tulsa, OK / Corpus Christi, TX.

Your Impact

• Develop, maintain, and status integrated project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Work with project managers, engineering leads, construction teams, contractors, and consultants to collect schedule updates, validate logic, and align activities with project execution plans.
• Monitor critical path, float, milestones, progress trends, and schedule variances, identifying potential risks and recommending practical recovery or mitigation actions.
• Review contractor and consultant schedules for completeness, logic, sequencing, resource loading, progress updates, and alignment with contractual and program requirements.
• Prepare schedule reports, look-aheads, milestone summaries, and executive-level updates that clearly communicate schedule status, risks, and required decisions.
• Support baseline schedule development, schedule updates, change impact analysis, delay analysis, and schedule recovery planning as needed.
• Coordinate schedule data with cost controls, risk management, document controls, and reporting teams to support integrated project controls and accurate performance reporting.
• Use scheduling information to support progress meetings, client discussions, contractor coordination, and timely escalation of schedule-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling standards, templates, reporting practices, and Primavera P6 schedule quality across Power & Energy programs.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent scheduling or project controls experience will also be considered.
• 7+ Years experience in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for capital projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is strongly preferred, including schedule development, logic review, progress updates, critical path analysis, and schedule reporting.
• Working knowledge of scheduling best practices, baseline management, change impact analysis, milestone tracking, and schedule risk identification.
• Familiarity with project controls tools and reporting platforms such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar systems is helpful.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to translate schedule data into clear updates for project teams, contractors, clients, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Power & Energy industry, including transmission, substation, or other infrastructure programs.
