Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking an energetic Scheduler for a busy specialty clinic in Tulsa, OK. The role requires medical office and scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with pay at $16 per hour. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, coordinating referrals, and ensuring accurate patient information

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical office experience.
• Previous scheduling experience in a medical setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
• Experience answering multi line phones.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and different insurance types.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls for a specialty clinic office.
• Schedule appointments for physicians and additional departments.
• Contact patients to schedule appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Call patients regarding appointment changes and rescheduling needs.
• Check out patients, collect copays, and schedule follow up appointments.
• Verify insurance participation and ensure the clinic is contracted with the patient’s insurance prior to scheduling.
• Maintain accurate patient information and appointment details.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to patients and staff.
