Job summary

Home Care Providers Group in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced scheduling coordinator for healthcare to manage patient visits and coordinate clinical staff schedules. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting and must be familiar with medical terminology.

This full-time role offers competitive pay, with a salary range of $40,000 to $45,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid days off and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of scheduling in a healthcare setting (home health preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to work 8 AM – 5 PM from Indianapolis office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule visits for newly referred patients and assign appropriate clinical staff.
• Coordinate staff schedules, PTO, call-offs, and special visit requests.
• Communicate with patients regarding scheduling and specific needs.
• Track and maintain SOC spreadsheets and weekly reports.
• Assist Clinical Directors with staff evaluations and onboarding.
• Document and report field staff incidents/complaints.
• Enter communications in Call Log and provide related reports.
• Support Case Managers with LPN/LVN, PTA, COTA, and aide supervisory visits.
• Handle office tasks: scanning, filing, emailing, medical records management.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude at all times.
