Responsibilities

  • Schedule daily workloads within the assigned division to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Communicate with the sales team, department supervisors, and expediting personnel to optimize performance and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Report any changes or deviations from customer requirements to the sales team and management.
  • Coordinate scheduling priorities to support customer needs and communicate those priorities across the organization.
  • Organize and participate in daily production meetings to review workload and scheduling requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain work-in-progress (WIP) and departmental schedules to maximize workflow efficiency in coordination with expediting personnel.
  • Communicate with the Quality Department regarding required gauges and inspection equipment.
  • Expedite customer orders to ensure delivery commitments are met.
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekend work schedules when necessary to support production demands.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EHC is looking for a Scheduler for a Client in the Houston Area

$ 21 (6 am - 6 pm) Monday - Saturday; OT available. Must be willing to work 7 days a week, if needed.

Primary Function

The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling workflow across all departments to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Schedule daily workloads within the assigned division to ensure efficient workflow throughout all departments.
  • Communicate with the sales team, department supervisors, and expediting personnel to optimize performance and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Report any changes or deviations from customer requirements to the sales team and management.
  • Coordinate scheduling priorities to support customer needs and communicate those priorities across the organization as required.
  • Organize and participate in daily production meetings to review workload and scheduling requirements.

  • Utilize inspection, measuring, and testing equipment as required by applicable work instructions and quality procedures.
Qualifications
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Trade school education preferred.
  • Must possess basic reading and writing skills.
Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to successfully complete required proficiency and on-the-job training.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform all essential job duties within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Training Requirements
  • Safety training and compliance programs.
  • Required management system and procedural training.
  • Quality system orientation and training.
  • Training on company work instructions, production procedures, and applicable industry standards as outlined in the training matrix.
