Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Project Scheduler in Houston to support planning and scheduling for our large-scale projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with project goals.

The role requires working knowledge of P6, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a BA in Construction Management or 8 years equivalent experience; 5+ years in large projects is expected. This is a full-time on-site position in the Houston area.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of P6.
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products.
  • 5+ years of related experience within large scale projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management or 8 years equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support all planning and scheduling activities of the project.
  • Report to the Scheduling Manager or Scheduling Director. The Project Scheduler must be a team player and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

The Project Scheduler assists and supports all planning and scheduling activities of the project through the application of diversified controls, systems, principles, and practices. The position works under direct supervision, gathers and distributes information, and reports directly to the Scheduling Manager or Scheduling Director. The Project Scheduler must be a team player and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Project Scheduler Required Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of P6
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • 5+ years of related experience within large scale projects
