Job summary

Emmanuel Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. This full-time role coordinates day-to-day and future scheduling for our field teams, ensuring consistent care delivery and timely communication of changes.

You will work closely with Clinical Leadership and Office Support teams while also providing HRIS support through our time and attendance software. If you value accuracy, organization, and compassionate care, we want you on our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience required; hospice or homecare experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong background in customer service, clerical work, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and communicate staff schedules, including weekend and on-call coverage.
• Update scheduling software and spreadsheets with accurate information.
• Coordinate coverage for vacations, call-ins, training, and other staffing needs.
• Monitor and maintain Teams schedules across multiple disciplines.
• Manage HRIS functions, including timecard approvals and PTO requests.
• Maintain and update coverage spreadsheets, night/weekend/holiday schedules, and monthly physician schedules.
• Support Office team with communication to patients, families, and vendors.

Emmanuel Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day and future scheduling for our field teams, ensuring consistent care delivery and timely communication of changes. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and communicate staff schedules, including weekend and on-call coverage.

• Coordinate coverage for vacations, call-ins, training, and other staffing needs.
• Monitor and maintain Teams schedules across multiple disciplines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move office supplies and materials up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional travel within Emmanuel Hospice's service area.
