Job summary

Access Family Care in Carthage, MO is seeking a Scheduler to join our friendly team. This full-time role coordinates patient appointments, handles scheduling requests, and delivers excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with computers, and prior scheduling or call center experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish and EMR/EHR familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently.

• Verify patient information and update demographic records.
• Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $17.00-$24.00 per hour, based on previous medical scheduling experience
