Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Scheduler for our Urology Surgical Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri. The role focuses on ensuring payer reimbursements align with contracts and securing authorizations to keep surgical schedules filled.

The Scheduler will work with the specialty clinic team to ensure timely patient scheduling and coverage. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 1 year in customer service or scheduling, with strong organization and multitasking abilities.

• Skills: Organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the payers are prepared to reimburse CMH for scheduled services in accordance with the payer-provider contract.
• Contacting payers to secure authorization.
• Working with the Specialty clinic team to ensure surgical schedules are filled, and patients are scheduled timely with all authorizations in place for coverage of the surgery.

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Scheduler to join ourUrology Surgical Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Status: Full Time

Work Shift: Days

Hours: 8:00a.m -4:30p.m

What Your Day Looks Like: At CMH Urology Surgical Clinic, we treat a variety of urological illnesses, injuries and ailments. Our board certified physician and trained staff offer:

Bladder reconstructions

Kidney stone removals

Surgeries for genital or urinary cancers

As a Scheduler, you will be:

Ensuring the payers are prepared to reimburse CMH for scheduled services in accordance with the payer-provider contract.

Contacting payers to secure authorization

Working with the Specialty clinic team to ensure surgical schedules are filled, and patients are scheduled timely with all authorizations in place for coverage of the surgery.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
