Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri is seeking a Scheduler to join the Utilization Review Department. This role supports timely, compliant scheduling and payer authorizations to ensure efficient patient care.

You will coordinate with payers, schedule surgeries with authorizations, and help keep CMH's operational workflow smooth. Qualifications include a high school diploma and 1 year in customer service or scheduling, with strong organization and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the payers are prepared to reimburse CMH for scheduled services in accordance with the payer-provider contract.
• Contacting payers to secure authorization
• Working with the Specialty clinic team to ensure surgical schedules are filled and patients are scheduled timely with all authorizations in place for coverage of the surgery.

What Your Day Looks Like:The CMH UR teamappraisesappropriateand efficientutilizationof services provided by CMH members of the medical staff to patients.

As a Scheduler, you will be:

Ensuring the payers are prepared to reimburse CMH for scheduled servicesin accordance withthe payer-provider contract.

Contactingpayers to secure authorization

Working with the Specialtyclinicteam to ensure surgical schedules arefilled,and patients are scheduledtimelywith all authorizations in place for coverage of the surgery.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
