Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri, seeks a Reimbursement Representative to join our Clinic Central Billing team. You will perform clinic billing functions and manage follow-up on patient accounts to secure payment, working 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Full-time daytime role. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience with medical billing; knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Computer experience; medical billing experience preferred.
• Skills: ICD-10 and CPT knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing billing functions related to the clinics.
• Managing follow-up on patient accounts and resolving issues to obtain payment.
• Resolving edits in Expanse, SSI, and managing denials from payers
• Utilizing payer websites to obtain claim status and eligibility information
• Resolving credit balances by requesting refunds or adjustments

What Your Day Looks Like:

Clinic Central Billing provides billing and follow-up onCMHclinic accounts.

As aReimbursement Representative, you will be:

Performing billing functions related to the clinics

Managing follow-up on patient accounts and resolving issues to obtain payment.

Resolving edits in Expanse, SSI, and managingdenialsfrom payers

Utilizing payer websites to obtain claim status andeligibilityinformation

Resolving credit balances by requesting refunds or adjustments

Qualifications:

Education:High school diploma or equivalent
