POSITION: AccountsPayableClerk
LOCATION: District Office
WORK YEAR: Schedule I - full time, year round
SALARY RANGE: $20.37 per hour, Benefits per Secretarial Union Contract
QUALIFICATIONS:PreviousAccountsPayableexperience with working knowledge of accounting principles. Ability to prioritize workflow. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for extensive contact with vendors and staff. Strong organizational skills. Familiarity with MS Office Software. Knowledge of Highland and LawsonPayables a plus.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Processes and enter school district’saccountspayable. Responsible for accuracy for all school payments. Assists Accounting Coordinator with processing of school warrant. Responds to all payment inquiries from district personnel and outside vendors in a timely manner, including all follow-up necessary to maintain positive relationships. Covers receptionist’s desk as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Business Services.,
