IRVING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a Title I/SCE General Aide to support the campus by assisting in the office and classrooms as directed by the principal. This is a grant funded role with a 187-day schedule under Paraprofessional 030.
The incumbent will perform clerical tasks, support individual students or small groups, and help maintain confidentiality and instructional materials while contributing to a positive campus environment.
This is a grant funded position. Funds for this position are expected to be available up to the end of the school year. In addition to other specified conditions of employment, the applicant understands that no guarantee of continued employment, beyond the availability of the grant funds, is expressed or implied by Irving Independent School District. A Letter of Assurance will be issued for this position.

Provide flexibility in meeting campus needs by assisting in the office and/or in the classrooms as determined by the principal.
Length of Work Year & Salary: 187 days Paraprofessional 030 pay scale
Experience working with children/students or parents
Copier, multi-line telephone, facsimile, audiovisual equipment, and computer/peripherals
Contribute to the prevention of accidents and injuries by observing safety rules and District policy, practicing the principles and skills taught in safety training, wearing personal protective equipment as required, reporting injuries and incidences immediately to supervisor, and being proactive in the ongoing efforts to improve and maintain workplace safety.
