Job summary

Municipal Emergency Services, Inc. (MES) is seeking a full-time Service Technician to inspect, maintain and repair SCBA equipment used by firefighters. You will perform preventive maintenance, tests, calibrations, and documentation on 3M/Scott SCBA units during service calls at fire departments.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical skills, safety focus, and basic computer literacy. Willingness to travel 100% is required; on-site work with a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience servicing SCBA equipment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and SCBA manufacturer guidelines is desirable.
• Basic computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test SCBA equipment for readiness and safety.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on 3M/Scott SCBA components.
• Document inspection results, maintenance actions, and test outcomes.
• Calibrate SCBA equipment and train end-users on proper use.
