Job summary

MES Life Safety is seeking a Service Technician (Air Products - SCBA) to inspect, maintain, repair, and test SCBA equipment used by firefighters. You will perform periodic service calls, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure readiness of 3M/Scott SCBA units.

Travel 25–30% with occasional overnight stays is expected. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior SCBA maintenance experience, and knowledge of NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect SCBA equipment and related gear for safety and readiness.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on SCBA equipment.
• Conduct tests (pressure, airflow, leak) and document results.
• Calibrate and adjust SCBA equipment for accurate readings.
• Train end-users on proper use and care of SCBA equipment.
• Manage inventory of spare parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Stay current with NFPA standards and Scott/3M guidelines.
• Interact with customers to address equipment concerns.
