TEKsystems is seeking a Lafayette, LA-based Scanning Specialist to support digitization of child welfare documents. The role requires frequent travel between regional offices and handling sensitive materials.

Mileage reimbursement applies for long-distance travel beyond 50 miles or 1 hour from home base. Ideal candidates will have strong documentation skills, the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, and experience with QA processes to ensure accurate data conversion and timely project

Description

Lafayette, Louisiana Scanning Specialist

Candidates will be responsible for traveling between multiple office locations within their assigned region to support the digitization of child welfare documents. Viewing sensitive content is a daily part of this position. Travel will be based on the location of physical files requiring scanning, and candidates will follow the workload accordingly. Reliable transportation is required, as frequent travel between sites is an essential part of this role. Scanning/Doc Preppers will be reimbursed for any mileage that is over 1 hour or 50 miles away in the region they support. The standard mileage reimbursement rate for business use in Louisiana for 2026 is $0.70 per mile (70 cents per mile).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
