Aston Carter is seeking an entry-level Document Imaging Specialist to support our Omaha, NE operations. You will prepare documents for scanning, operate high-speed scanners, and index material into the imaging system while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
In this contract-to-hire role, you will perform QA checks, re-scan or re-index as needed, and adhere to standard procedures, with supervision available for unusual cases.
OB OBJECTIVE: Prepares documents to be scanned into the imaging system. Scans documents using high speed scanning machines, and indexes scanned documents into the Companys imaging system. Performs quality assurance checks on scan quality and indexing and rescans or indexes scanned documents to the correct location. Fundamental Job Requirements: Works under occasional supervision, referring only unusual cases to others. Performs repetitive and routine tasks using standardized procedures. Uses judgment to deviate when required for minor variations. Opportunity for errors is usually discovered and may involve some difficulty to correct. Little or no contacts except with immediate associates and supervisor. Occasionally works with confidential data. One or more years work experience.

Required Knowledge: Basic Math Personal computer and related software Preferred Knowledge: Company practices and procedures Knowledge of imaging technology General knowledge of insurance operations Skills: Typing 20-30 wpm with accuracy (preferred) Excellent customer service orientation Documentation Excellent motor skills to operate computerized scanning equipment Excellent attention to detail Scanning equipment operation Abilities: Ability to lift, carry and push up to 30 lbs. Prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to work overtime when needed Requires regular and dependable level of attendance Organize time and resources Work well with others Work independently Respond well to demands on time and resources Maintain confidentiality

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
