Job summary

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, and removes scanned products according to our system, reporting to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

The role is Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt with on-site work, typically Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. You will inspect, categorize, and move items through the scanning process while supporting quality targets and

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site.
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
• Must lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process.
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly.
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number.
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.
