Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Scanline Floater to prepare and position products for the scan team and remove scanned products, reporting to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead. The role supports the intake and sorting process for customer returns and overstock items to be auctioned online.

The position requires on-site work Monday–Friday, with an 8-hour shift and a 30-minute lunch. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 lbs solo and 50 lbs with team lift, and be comfortable standing and walking for

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process.
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly.
• Move products to the bays, placing them on shelves by auction and lot number.
• Assist team in meeting quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
