• Leads by example when reviewing and verifying data entered into system with utmost accuracy.
• Follows work processes to ensure optimal output, quality, and downstream process integrity.
• Ensures the team meets output requirements as defined by business needs, including scheduling.
• Keeps scanners and processing tools operating as intended and well maintained.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results.
• Prepares documents for scanning and performs high-volume scans on internal and client platforms.
• Enters information from scanned images and paper documents.
• Follows established procedures to ensure output and quality meet expectations.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
• Communicates with coworkers, management, clients and others in a courteous manner.

The Scan Center Team Lead is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and performing front line work document preparation, scanning, and data entry to produce various products and services.
Responsibilities

• Leads by example when reviewing and verifying data entered into system by ensuring the utmost accuracy
• Follows work processes to ensure optimal output, quality, and downstream process integrity.
• Responsible for ensuring team meets output requirements as defined by business needs, including but not limited to completing a planned schedule or working from a live list of work-in processes.
• Ensures that equipment such as scanners and other processing tools are operating as intended.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
• Prepares documents for scanning and scans high volumes of paper on internal systems and client platforms.
• Enters information from scanned images and paper documents.
• Follows established procedures and ensures output and quality meet expectations.
• Cares for related equipment and work area.
• Communicates with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Complies with and adheres to MetaSource policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly, Wear PPE and following all safety directives. (Report any safety hazards to supervisor.)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-pound boxes
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Reaching, pushing, and lifting boxes between 20-40 pounds
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity.
• Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time
• Repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers are required
