1440 Foods Manufacturing is seeking a Scaling Operator for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) in Jeffersonville, Indiana. You will measure ingredients, operate scaling and mixing equipment, and ensure product quality and safety in a fast-paced food production facility.

Responsibilities include accurate weighing, recording usage, maintaining logs, and upholding hygiene standards. The role requires a high school diploma; technical training or food-processing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machine operation training a plus.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment preferred.
• Technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ingredient measurement: Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to production specifications.
• Equipment operation: Operate and maintain scaling and mixing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Quality control: Perform routine checks on ingredient quality and adherence to specifications; report discrepancies.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of ingredient usage and inventory levels; complete production logs as required.
• Hygiene and safety: Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Collaboration: Work with production team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely production schedules.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
