Job summary

1440 Foods Manufacturing in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Scaling Operator for the 3rd shift to accurately weigh ingredients, materials and finished products. You will operate scales, calibrate equipment, and help ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards in a fast-paced production setting.

Scheduled hours are 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM with starting pay of $21.40 per hour plus a 5% bonus. Prior experience in manufacturing or food production is preferred, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production preferred.
• Forklift certification and HACCP or related food safety certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients and materials according to production formulas and specifications.
• Operate and calibrate industrial scales and automated dispensing equipment to ensure precise material quantities.
• Perform routine checks on materials and ingredients to ensure quality and weight specifications.
• Report discrepancies to supervisors and the quality control team.
• Regularly inspect and maintain weighing equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere to GMP and safety protocols; maintain clean workstations and record data meticulously.
• Maintain records of measurements, materials used, and production data; document deviations.
• Collaborate with production and packaging teams to support smooth material flow.
