1440 Foods is seeking a Scaling Operator for our Jeffersonville, IN facility. You will measure and prepare ingredients for production in a 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), with starting pay of $21.40/hr.

You will weigh materials, run scaling and mixing equipment, and help ensure product quality and safety. Responsibilities include quality control, record keeping, and collaboration with the production team to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to production specifications and recipes.
• Operate and maintain scaling and mixing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Perform routine checks on ingredient quality and adherence to specifications; report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of ingredient usage and inventory levels; complete production logs.
• Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure smooth workflow and timely production schedules.
• Work closely with other production team members to ensure a smooth workflow and timely production schedules.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within scaling and mixing operations.
