Job summary

1440 Foods Manufacturing is seeking a Scaling Operator for our 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) to accurately measure ingredients, operate scaling and mixing equipment, and help ensure product quality and hygiene.

You will maintain records, follow safety protocols, collaborate with the production team, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting timely production schedules in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and technical training in machine operation is a plus.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ingredient Measurement: Accurately weigh and measure raw materials according to production specifications and recipes.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain scaling and mixing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
• Quality Control: Perform routine checks on ingredient quality and adherence to specifications; report any discrepancies.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of ingredient usage and inventory levels; complete production logs as required.
• Hygiene and Safety: Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a smooth workflow and timely production schedules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other production team members to ensure a smooth workflow and timely production schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within scaling and mixing operations.
