Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. in Wells, MN, is seeking a Scaler for the 2nd shift to weigh boxes to design specs and complete paperwork with accuracy. You will operate a scale and tape machine, ensure correct labeling, and manage packing room setup for the run.

JOB SUMMARY:

Weigh boxes of product to designated specifications. Complete necessary paperwork or computer entry and perform temperature and metal detector checks.

JOB DUTIES:

Advise packers of product type and how product is to be packed.

Weigh all boxes to meet minimum weight and counts.

Ensure proper label, stamp and date code are on boxes.

May be required to bend, lift and twist frequently throughout the work shift.

Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
