Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Processing Machine Operator to set up and operate processing machines, monitor quality, and ensure batch sheets are followed. The role runs 3:30pm to end of production, Mon-Thu with schedule variations.

You will complete paperwork, perform required safety training, and work in a production environment with lifting up to 50 lbs and exposure to varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must complete required safety training for Lock Out/Tag Out, Powered Industrial Trucks, Hazard Communication, etc.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to perform basic data entry into a computer system on a Windows environment.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Experience and knowledge with HACCP programs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate processing machines, including leveling, filling, speed, and other mechanical adjustments such as belt height, scraping tubes, filter checks, temperature checks, batter tests, oil monitoring, etc.
• Perform setup to machine specifications by following batch sheet and load formulation information for each product code.
• Accurately complete paperwork and enter it into computer systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION: Processing Machine Operator HOURS: 3 :30pm - until the end of production (Mon- Thurs, Schedule May Vary)

EMPLOYMENT: Full time

JOBDUTIES:

• Set up and operate processing machines, including leveling, filling, speed, and other mechanical adjustments such as belt height, scraping tubes, filter checks, temperature checks, batter tests, oil monitoring, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
