Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. in Hartwell, GA is seeking a machine operator to set up and run production lines according to specifications and safety rules.

The role includes adjusting speeds, temperatures, and belts, performing tests, and helping with packing and repack tasks as needed. Qualifications

• Must complete required training including Power Jack and Lock Out/Tag Out.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Machine set up and operation including leveling, filling, moving machines, speed and adjustments.
• Perform all required testing.
• Maintain all machine systems including adjusting speeds, belt heights, temperatures and monitoring control panels.
• Assist the line as needed (repack boxes, stack skids, pack when behind).
• Read batch sheets and formulate loads for marinator operations.
• Know 8-digit product codes.
• Operate and fill Wilevco; Toledo system.
• Know cooler locations and supply line with raw materials.
• Read specifications and batch sheets.
• Operate jack safely.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Complete QA and inventory recordkeeping (paper and computer).
• Knowledge of HACCP program.
• Frequent twisting, bending, lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Machine set up and operation in accordance with specifications and safety regulations.

JOB DUTIES

Machine set up and operation which includes leveling, filling, moving machines, speed and adjustments. Includes mixers,packing and all other productionequipment

Perform all required testing

Maintain all machine systems which include adjusting speeds and belt heights, checkingtemperatures, monitoring control panels

Will help assist the line in any way needed: i.e.helping repack boxes, helping stack skids when transporter is gone to freezer and helping pack when packers fall behind

Able to perform marinator operations: reading batch sheets and formulating loads

Know 8-digit product codes

Operate and fill Wilevco; Operate Toledo system

• Know cooler locations and functions, supply line with raw materials

Must be able to read and understand specifications and batch sheets

Operate jack in a safe and responsible manner

Maintain clean and safe work environment

Complete all necessary record keeping for QA and inventory records; paper and computer entry

Knowledge and understanding of the HACCP program

Frequent twisting, bending, and lifting, up to 100 lbs

Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

High noise exposure, temperature variations from warm to cool to extremely cold and slippery floors are present. Exposure to cold by working in a cooled area and working with chilled product. Exposure to potentially hazardous/moving equipment. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required. Exposure to high levels of dust from ingredients.
