Prince William County is seeking a full-time Scalehouse Weighmaster/Fiscal Technician to operate weighing systems, process payments, and deliver exceptional customer service at the Landfill or Compost Facility in Manassas, VA. A high school diploma and 1 year of cash handling/front-line service experience are required; WeighMaster Certification is a plus.

Ideal candidates will work independently, support daily operations, and help ensure compliance with solid waste regulations while engaging

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of cash handling and front-line customer service experience.
WeighMaster Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate computerized weighing systems and assess incoming loads.
Process payments and reconcile receipts.
Provide excellent customer service to commercial and public customers.
Perform accurate data entry using the scale software system.
Assist with daily operations and support scalehouse staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with county solid waste regulations and communicate requirements to the public.
Prepare deposits and related documentation per policies.
