Prince William County Public Works, Solid Waste Division, seeks a full-time Scalehouse Weighmaster/Fiscal Technician to operate weighing systems, assess loads, process payments, and deliver excellent customer service at the County’s Landfill or Compost Facility in Manassas, VA.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; Weighmaster certification within one year is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience in cash handling and front-line customer service.
• WeighMaster Certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized weighing systems and assess incoming loads.
• Process payments and reconcile receipts.
• Provide excellent customer service to commercial and public customers.
• Perform accurate data entry using scale software.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintain compliance with county solid waste regulations.
