Aluminum Dynamics, a Steel Dynamics subsidiary in Columbus, MS, is seeking an organized receiving/scale house assistant to support truck processing from arrival to departure. The role involves data entry, paperwork, and coordinating with drivers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate is safety oriented, detail focused, and willing to work shift hours including overtime. Prior scale house or shipping experience is a plus, and a positive attitude is essential to join our production-support staff.

Qualifications

• Safety oriented and attentive to procedures.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to shifting schedules.
• Shift work required with scheduled and non-scheduled overtime.

Responsibilities

• Scale trucks in and out in a timely manner.
• Process paperwork and data entry.
• Print and organize receiving documents.
• Communicate with personnel regarding truck loading/unloading to streamline the process.
• Problem solving and decision making.
• Assist with administrative duties.
• Monitoring scale cameras.
• Work closely with other members in the receiving departments and material handling daily.
• Assist suppliers and trucking companies by communicating issues.
• Scan, email and photocopy documents as required.
