Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Scalehouse Operator to support day-to-day scale operations and administrative duties, serving as the first point of contact for customers, drivers, vendors and visitors. You will ensure accurate scale tickets and assist with dispatch and QC duties.

The role requires a go-getter mindset, solid computer and math skills, and strong communication. You will join a team-focused environment with opportunities for growth and a commitment to safety and service.

Qualifications

• Go-Getter mentality is a must.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in construction/aggregate industry is a plus.
• Good understanding of computers and simple math.
• Detail-oriented data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules and gov. regulations.
• Produce accurate scale tickets for trucks.
• Assist customers with purchase decisions.
• Respond to customer questions and calls.
• Assist loaders and haulers as needed.
• Maintain cash, COD records and daily reports.
• Office work and scale house maintenance.
• Ensure correct weight and product from pit.
• Provide aggregate dispatch and customer service.
• Assist Quarry Manager with QC duties.
