Job summary

Impact Confections, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to scale up new products and technologies while driving efficiency across existing manufacturing processes.

You will bridge R&D and Operations, applying scientific methods to ensure robust, scalable manufacturing and to support IP development for long‑term growth. The role emphasizes collaboration with Innovation, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Operations to optimize ingredient functionality, shelf life and product quality

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to new product or process development.
• Experience with quality systems and continuous improvement.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and control processes translating product attributes into process parameters and in‑process quality controls.
• Lead scale‑up from pilot to production, coordinating with R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Operations.
• Support validation, scale‑up of new products, processes, and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
