Job summary

Phoenix Tailings, Inc. seeks a seasoned manufacturing leader to scale and optimize rare earth metals production, starting at Exeter and expanding to new sites.

You will shape the manufacturing organization, drive process discipline, and push toward safe, high-throughput, cost-effective operations across multiple sites. You will lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, build robust systems, and partner with engineering to commercialize breakthrough processes while maintaining demanding safety and

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Experience scaling complex manufacturing processes to high-volume production.
• Leadership of multi-site growth and large-scale capacity expansion.
• Strong Lean and Six Sigma background; Black Belt/Master Black Belt preferred.
• Ability to translate performance data into clear business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up of rare earth metals manufacturing operations and establish production capabilities.
• Own safety, throughput, yield, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule attainment as volumes grow.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategy for Exeter and future facilities.
• Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing organization across functions.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma to reduce variation and improve performance.
• Drive readiness and ramp-up for new equipment, processes, and capacity expansions.
• Create scalable systems for planning, workforce development, and governance.
• Identify and eliminate constraints to increase capacity while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with engineering to transition processes into repeatable, scalable systems.
• Define the manufacturing roadmap to expand production footprint.
