Job summary

Phoenix Tailings seeks a Vice President of Manufacturing to lead the scale-up of our Exeter facility and future sites. You will transform first-of-its-kind production into safe, high-throughput, scalable systems and establish the operating discipline and continuous improvement framework for growth.

You will build a world-class manufacturing organization, deploy Lean and Six Sigma, and drive cost, quality, and safety improvements as production expands across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree a plus.
• Progressive leadership in manufacturing, operations, or industrial engineering in complex industries.
• Experience scaling complex manufacturing processes and multi-site growth.
• Lean and Six Sigma expertise; Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
• Data-driven problem solving using SPC, CP, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up of rare earth metals manufacturing operations to sustained production.
• Own safety, throughput, yield, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule improvements as volumes grow.
• Develop and execute Exeter and future facilities manufacturing strategy and models.
• Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing organization across functions.
• Establish Lean and Six Sigma systems and data-driven improvements to reduce variation.
• Drive readiness and ramp-up for new equipment, processes, and capacity expansions.
• Create scalable systems for planning, workforce development, and governance.
