Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Scale-Up Lab Quality Engineer to promote efficient product scale-ups and support continuous improvement projects. You will supervise quality control functions for final products and lab equipment and ensure tests are completed on time to meet specifications.

Role requires a BS or MS in chemistry or chemical engineering with 7+ years (or 3+ with MS) of relevant experience, plus Six Sigma Green Belt training.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with significant experience in scale-up labs or QA in manufacturing.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methods (Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Strong data analysis and ability to draft clear reports.
• Solid understanding of laboratory testing and calibration practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support quality control testing for scale-up products and labs.
• Ensure tests meet specifications and are completed on time.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports and data records.
• Support ISO Management Systems and safety procedures.
• Oversee calibration, aging studies, and batch testing as needed.
• Identify improvements and communicate compliance concerns promptly.
