Responsibilities include maintaining daily transaction logs, handling payments, and communicating with drivers, dispatch, and yard staff while upholding 5S standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional communication with customers and drivers.
• Ability to multi-task at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Comfort with using scale systems and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct inbound loads to correct locations.
• Record scale transactions including gross, tare, and net weights.
• Maintain daily purchase and sales records with order numbers.
• Process scale payments and adjust contracts as directed by Buyers.
• Issue and file cheques with proper backup documentation.
• Handle cash payments for customers needing immediate payment.
• Answer the main phone line and route calls accordingly.
• Maintain radio contact with yard personnel and manage emergencies.
• Follow 5S standards and keep scale house orderly.
• Daily weigh tickets and cash reconciliation.
