Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience operating truck scales in scrap metal, quarry, or transfer station.
• Ability to develop cooperative relationships with customers and employees.
• Bilingual English & Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Review, inspect, and document inbound loads.
• Direct drivers to proper yard location for loading/unloading.
• Complete all required documentation for vehicles and loads.
• Process payments and keep accurate records.
• Assist customers with pricing questions and maintain account contacts.
• Perform general office duties.
