SA Recycling, a world leader in metals recycling, seeks a Scale Operator to accurately weigh trucks and manage yard operations. You will handle weigh tickets, documentation, and customer interactions, ensuring precise records and timely processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Detail-oriented to prevent data entry errors.
• Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and co-workers.
• Bilingual EN/ES is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh trucks entering and leaving the yard and provide courteous service.
• Complete all truck/load paperwork and end-of-day weigh ticket processing.
• Test scales for accuracy and report malfunctions to management.
• Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Assist suppliers with pricing questions and material types.
• Cross-train with office staff and maintain punctual attendance.
