Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Scale Operator to accurately weigh vehicles and input load data into our computer system at our facility in Ohio. You will determine charges, receive payments, issue receipts and maintain records with precision.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work outdoors in varying conditions, communicate clearly with customers, and balance receipts daily while supporting other roles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale equipment to weigh all vehicles and determine charges.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and document transactions in the system.
• Interact with customers and provide information on facility procedures.
• Balance daily receipts and ensure accurate billing.
• Accept or reject loads to maintain material standards.
• Prepare and maintain paperwork on scales and facility.
• Support other roles as needed.
