Job summary

Simon, a Colas USA subsidiary, operates across several Western states and manages scale operations at a commercial pit/quarry. You will weigh trucks, assist customers, monitor site functions, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Strong communication and record-keeping skills are essential for success. The role requires monitoring compliance with MSHA/OSHA and EPA rules, handling data entry, and supporting sales and production reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history preferred.
• Experience in aggregate production or similar operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Embrace safety culture and participate in safety initiatives.
• Act as primary contact for pit/quarry operations and customers.
• Operate scale to weigh trucks and prepare driver tickets.
• Maintain accurate records of materials entering and exiting the facility.
• Coordinate with trucking for delivery and haul schedules.
• Enter inventory, billing, and time-keeping data into computer systems.
