Job summary

Ventura Coastal is seeking a Scale Operator in Visalia to ensure accurate documentation in CitrOS and related formats. You will also act as a gatekeeper when needed, verifying that only authorized personnel enter the facility and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in industrial security and experience as a Scale Operator, with strong MS Office and ERP skills. The position involves flexibility for shift coverage and related duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years’ experience in industrial security.
• Experience as a Scale Operator.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and large-scale ERP systems.
• Ability to read and write English; bilingual/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scale operator duties and ensure data is entered correctly in CitrOS and other formats.
• Act as gatekeeper when needed, allowing only authorized personnel into the facility.
• Weigh, measure, or count products for inbound/outbound shipments and complete BOL and scale tickets.
• Direct truckers to control traffic, post shipments to inventory, and report hazards.
