Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred 2–4 years in a customer service role, preferably weighing materials.
• Knowledge of weighing equipment and procedures.
• Strong math skills and ability to bill accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Weighs and records incoming materials and ensures accurate ticketing.
• Record weights accurately and legibly on tickets and documentation.
• Maintain cash fund accurately and report discrepancies.
• Operates the truck scales and generates correct tickets for customers.
• Resolve weight discrepancies by recalibrating scales or reweighing.
• Maintain and calibrate weighing equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Comply with laws governing weighing of materials.
• Greet customers professionally and maintain office neatness.
• Communicate clearly with customers to ensure correct billing.
• Handle cash sales by collecting cash, checks, or cards.
• Assist sales/dispatch to resolve customer issues.
• Answer phones and perform office duties as requested.
• Prepare scales for daily use; troubleshoot with Plant Admin Support.
• Direct customers to piles and guide load-out personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
