Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Scale Operator to weigh trucks at the scale, enter data into our system, and manage daily cash and deposits. The role involves customer-facing duties, invoicing, and routine reporting to support accurate billing and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication and multitasking abilities, and familiarity with MS Word and MS Excel. Evening or weekend overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multitask.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Evening and/or weekend overtime work may be required depending on business need.

Responsibilities

• Operates the weight station scale.
• Greets and assists the public in a friendly manner providing quality customer service.
• Enters information into computer program on a daily basis.
• Prepares daily deposit.
• Balances and handles cash drawer on a daily basis.
• Answers the phone, Checks mail.
• Prepares customer charge account invoices for billing.
• Receives, annotates, and processes payments.
• Prepares monthly and yearly reports as requested.
• M aintains a clean, safe environment in the scale office.
