Arcosa Aggregates in Howell, NJ is seeking a Scale House Clerk to support a safety-driven culture in an OSHA-compliant environment. You will record truck weights, calculate charges, and maintain precise records in a high-tempo setting.

Responsibilities include customer service, ticket accuracy, coordination with sales/dispatch, and daily reconciliation of tickets. Good attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.

• Experience in scale-house operations preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service both internally and externally.
• Ensure accurate weight of trucks.
• Ensure accuracy of ticket prior to issue.
• Coordinate with sales department/dispatch.
• Convey customer needs or complaints to Scale Ops Manager.
• Record operating hours of equipment on site weekly.
• Process COD and reconcile tickets daily.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to questions.
• Prevent trucks from leaving oversize limits.
• Maintain scale house and surrounding area cleanliness.
• Assist with clerical duties for plant management.
• Maintain signage on message board (Labor Law posters).
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
