Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Scale Clerk for our Newberry, FL plant. The role focuses on recording weights, generating tickets, and serving as a backup dispatcher as needed. The candidate will work in a safety-conscious environment with strict adherence to MSHA standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring truck weights are accurate, issuing tickets, and maintaining cleanliness of the scale house. Prior scale house experience is helpful but not required, with a strong emphasis on customer

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service both internally and externally.
• Ensure accurate weight of trucks and accuracy of tickets prior to issue.
• Process COD and reconcile tickets daily.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to questions.
• Maintain general cleanliness of scale house and surrounding area.
• Periodically assist with dispatch responsibilities (scheduling drivers and loads; maintaining dispatch records).
