Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Weigh trucks entering and leaving the facility.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Enter carrier information, pricing, and transaction details into company systems.
• Process payments including cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Prepare bank deposits and maintain sufficient cash for daily operations.
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and dispatching trucks.
• Order supplies such as fuel, lubricants, safety equipment, parts, and other materials.
• Maintain MSHA‑related records and documentation.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product and pricing information.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional scale house environment.
