Job summary

Reworld is seeking a part-time Scale Operator to monitor truck traffic, weigh inbound and outbound loads, and ensure accurate data recording and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, alternating Fridays and Saturdays, from 10:00 AM until the last truck is completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of administrative, clerical, or accounting experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with records systems preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and document all inbound and outbound truck loads.

• Communicate tonnage and operation updates to internal teams.
• Enforce DEP regulations and site safety requirements, including PPE use.
• Maintain a clean and orderly scale house and perform routine walkdowns.
• Provide customer service to drivers, vendors, and the public.
• Report operational issues or irregularities to supervision.
• Support special projects and work additional hours as needed.

About the role

The Scale Operator is responsible for monitoring all truck traffic, accurately recording load data, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Schedule: This part-time role requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, every other Friday and every other Saturday, with hours running from 10:00 AM until the last truck is completed.
