Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform general site maintenance, including yard work, minor repairs, janitorial tasks, and track cleanup.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment checks.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and repair tasks as directed.
• Provide clear disposal instructions to customers at the tipping floor.
• Support compliance by performing inspections in line with state Waste Ban Regulations.
• Monitor site safety and ensure all employees and visitors follow PPE requirements.
• Complete facility inspections as assigned.
• Follow and enforce all Reworld safety policies and procedures.

About the role

Reworld is seeking a dependable individual to perform Transfer Station Operator duties at one of our municipal solid waste transfer stations. This role supports daily operations through site maintenance, equipment upkeep, and customer guidance, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general site maintenance, including yard work, minor repairs, janitorial tasks, and track cleanup

Requirements

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 20.72 - 27.55 USD per hour
