Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. seeks an experienced Scaffold Estimator for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. The role focuses on quantitative takeoffs, bid readiness, and strong customer relations to secure projects.

Requirements include at least 2 years of estimating construction projects and a bachelor’s degree (or 5 years of equivalent experience). Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience estimating construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field, or 5 years of comparable work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word) and ability to read specifications and drawings
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team
• Customer service skills; ability to multitask and solve problems

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects
• Generate business leads
• Ensure projects are estimated thoroughly and timely
• Establish labor productivity for estimates
• Understand market conditions and margins for pricing
• Conduct internal bid reviews with management and cost controls
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and PCI teammates
• Assist in bid logs and customer/project tracking
• Support change order management and billings for each project
