Job summary

Integrated Scaffolding Concepts is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist leadmen with day-to-day activities, including erecting, maintaining, and dismantling temporary scaffolding for construction projects. This role involves working safely at heights and supporting experienced scaffold builders onsite.

The ideal candidate will transport and organize materials, assist in building scaffolding, lay planks, install fall protection, and coordinate with crane operators while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience using various power/hand tools.
• Previous scaffolding experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from job orders and work orders.
• Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instructions carefully and accurately.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Demonstrated commitment to following safety rules.
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• OSHA training preferred.

Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing, and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.

Physical Requirements

• Able towork in an outdoor construction work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, waste, toxic and infectiousmaterialsand possible inclement weather conditions.


• Able to walk, sit, stand, bend,kneel,crouch, crawl,stretch,squatand climb, often in restricted spaces and at great heightsfor extended periods on ladders and scaffolding.


• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.


• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.


• Good dexterity and coordination


• Able to wear required personal protective equipment.


• Able to worksafetywith specialized construction equipment, tools, and materials.


• Able to see, talk and hear inpersonand phone.


• Able tolift & carry items up toapproximately50lbs.


• Able to understand and execute actionsbased on verbal and visual instructions.
